How do I turn text alerts on and off?

Real-time text alerts are designed to provide immediate insight into your loved one’s response to specific routines. Text alerts can be customized first by routine and then by response type.  

 

In order to opt into text alerts, confirm that the phone number associated with your LifePod  account can receive text messages and you have noted this in your profile. 

To associate a phone number that can receive texts with your LifePod account: 

1. Log in to the LifePod Caregiver Portal 

2. Click your name in the top right corner of the Portal 

3. Choose “My Profile 

4. Select the box “This phone can receive texts

5. Click “Update 

 


To turn on/off text alerts for an existing routine: 

1. Log in to the LifePod Caregiver Portal 

2. Click the “Routines” tab 

3. Select the appropriate routine by using any of these three methods: 

    • Scrolling through the routines for today  
    • Clicking the blue calendar on the Routines page to select a specific date 
    • Filtering routine types by clicking Check-Ins, Reminders or Streaming Content below the “Routines” tab 

4. Select/De-select the Text Alert box  

    • For Check-In, Streaming Content and Reminder follow-ups: select the response type for which you would like an alert 

 

 

5. Click “Save Routine 

 


To turn on text alerts for a new routine: 

1. Log in to the LifePod Caregiver Portal 

2. Select a sample template or click the “Create” function for the routine type 

3. Customize the necessary description, start date, time, frequency and voice prompts 

4. Select the Text Alert box  

    • For Check-In, Streaming Content and Reminder follow-ups: select the response type for which you would like to receive an alert 

 

 

5. Click “Save Routine
